SLK tips for you...
SLK operator's 1st step trouble shooting guide, here are some tips for you:
Machine will not power ON:
- check the mains socket and mains cable
- check the fuses located behind the front door
- check the control panel cable and connection
- turn the mains switch several times to ON / OFF positions
Air bubbles remaining within the therapy head:
- put the machine into the degassing mode (coupling cushion pos. 0 of the control panel) and leave it on its own for at least 2 hours.
Coupling cushion will not inflate properly:
- check the general water level and add some water with the help of the water bottle to reach the correct level
Coupling cushion will not inflate well and machine makes some noise when cushion is being inflated:
- water circuit requires your attention and will need some repair
Water leaking from the therapy head when turned upside down:
- check the ultrasound foil and change it (within the therap head)
Water leakage from the coupling cushion when inflated:
- check the cushion mounting ring or
- coupling cushion needs changing if pierced
Chock wave release becomes erratic at 3 or 4 herts / shots per second:
- check the mains selector and adjust it to fit the mains voltage of the treatment room
Most frequent system error messages (SLK)
E10: stepper motor routine time out; E11: Stepper motor out of limits; E15: Degassing pump not working properly; E16: check the floating valve of expansion bellows; E20: HV circuit problem, check the PCCU; E30 up to E34: check the PCCU; E90: main controller to CAN bus com. problem, check the CP connection; E91: CAN bus disconnected; E92: hardware - software not comatible with each other; E93: CAN bus is OFF; E94: CAN bus failure, check / replace the control panel.
Capacitance of the PCCU
Switch the machine off, wait at least 5 minutes, open up the HV measurement point on the top of the PCCU by unscrewing the cap, then measure directly upon the HV point, value must be 1000 nF, +/- 5%
